NEW VERSION! YES!!! NO MORE LAG! NO MORE ARTMONEY!!! NO MORE, eh, who were they kidding? This is Nitto we're talking about. The day there is no more lag will be the day Dennis gives each member 10 cars and 100 million dollars, and since we all know that's NEVER going to happen, then lags here to stay. Sorry. So Nitto 1.08 was brought in with the usual complications that come from a new version. So that there is no confusion, I'm going to list them for you:
*Login Coding is screwed, which means not only do you have to deal with traffic, you might not be able to get in period.
* LAG IS horrible, I mean excessively horrible. Cars won't go, money can't be spent, You can't buy cars, Or fix cars, or parts and all that good stuff. You might not be to race. If you have a 7.6 RSX it might be going 8.2 for the next couple of days. (Oh yea, its that bad)
* Community list isn't updating as it should. Chat is repeating itself. So be careful about picking a fight over what was said. It probably wasn't aimed at you. lol.
As is evidenced on the forum, many are upset over these complications. As aforementioned this is Nitto people. Its a Nightmare on the 1320 that reoccurs every 2 months or so. Stop holding your breath in hopes that it will get better. The admins will have a patch by Wednesday and all will be well until Artmoney returns.

To Moderate or Not to Moderate
Well do we or don't we need Mods? Not having enough mods is as bad as not having any at all. Someone is in serious need of making up their minds, don't you think? Within the last week or so, many mod spots have been lost. Moderators have been dramatically cut down, with more cuts to come, before more are added as evidenced by the new 18 year old rule. (Should LL be gulping hard in wonderment over when the axe will fall on him?)

PM CONTROL!
MEMBERS CAN NOW CONTROL THEIR PM's. Oh yea baby! As if being a member isn't good enough, they're making it better with each version. You can now dictate rather or not you want to recieve Pm's and according to Scottacus, there is more to come. Stay tuned. --AngelChild--
